Full and soft. Velvet tannins. Earthy. Leather and dark fruits. I could drink this on it's own or obviously with some nice steak or lamb. — 10 years ago

My boyfriend loved this wine so I bought him a bottle. But it really is a good one. Exclusively sold from the wine shop. Red fruits and floral notes and a nice long finish. The perfect patio/BBQ wine — 10 years ago
I thought this was my favorite chard so far but it is a close 2nd. Very creamy toasty and buttery of course just not quite as smooth as the black hills one. — 10 years ago

Very crisp and lively. Very elegant and refined and well balanced. Dry and refreshing. All the wines we tried from this new winery were great. — 10 years ago
The most amazing smooth buttery creamy chard I've ever had. My new favorite — 10 years ago

Starting to show it's age with more honey and dried apricot. — 11 years ago
Holly Oaks
Nose is clean, med intensity, red cherry, spice, clove, liquorice, leather, fig. Palate is dry. Anyone saying this wine is sweet is probably confusing the immense amount of jammy cooked fruit flavours. High alcohol at 14% but for a Zin that's not a surprise. Med low tannin and acidity. Some red cherry and smokiness from the oak as well. Med body. Med to long finish. Good value and some nice balanced flavours going on. Prepare for purple teeth after only a few sips :) — 10 years ago
