Expected this to be past its prime but it was not. Deep, brooding nose of dark fruits. The tannins were polished and resolved but it certainly was in a good drinking window. A joy to drink.

Just going to say practicing for next weekend - get to meet the gang - so drinking two bottles tonight while watching some football and baseball after getting soaked at football game during a hurricane Matthew rainfall in Raleigh - decanted 2 hours - had before and still producing a smile

Oct 9th, 2016Relaxing by myself tonight - good but busy weekend - so enjoying one that I had previously but want it to be better and it was - decanted two hours - having pizza - ripe dark red color with ripe dark fruits of blackberries plums and great smooth tannins with balanced acidity - drink now even though this little winery designed to age up to 20 years and seems to be aging correctly - smiling and relaxing

this is one of the best wines i’ve had in a while. drinking perfectly at nearly 10 years old. Napa Cab at its finest. Highly recommend!!

Nicely aged and smooth. Carmel, and dark fruit predominate with cocoa notes.

Was planning on opening two of these but the first one was partially corked. This one was excellent- close to if not at its peak.
