Wood, a bit of spice, fudge (?) and, of course, some red fruit on the nose. On the palate, the wine is a bit green or stalky, but still very nice with plenty of fruit and medium tannins. I get hints of oak in the finish.

Рубиновый цвет с гранатовым краем. Яркая ароматика и насыщенный вкус. Зрелые клубника, малина, ежевика, оттенки земли и мокрой листвы, специи... целая гамма. Намёк на животные тона и немного чёрного чая во вкусе. Хочется провести время с бокалом, открывая новое в вине. Элегантные бархатные танины, среднее тело, кислотность выше среднего - все в прекрасном балансе.
Одно из любимых вин. Сейчас им совершенно точно уже можно наслаждаться , и конечно можно хранить. #autumnwine

Medium ruby color, with a garnet ring
Pronounced aromas of ripe strawberry, dried raspberry, blackberry, earth, wet leaves, tobacco, cloves, pepper, a hint of wet stones, farmyard nuance. Complex developing aromas.
The wine is dry. Acidity is medium+, tannins are medium, well integrated, silky, body is medium, alcohol is medium, flavor intensity is pronounced. Ripe strawberry, blackberry, tea leaves, earth, a hint of chocolate. The barrel do well integrated! Finish is medium+;.
For me it's outstanding! The balance, complexity, length and intensity.
Drink now, suitable for aging.

Have tasted a number of German PNs during our trips down there and often been disappointed - but not today. This wine from Konrad Salwey has an elegant fragrant Beaune-like nose with small ripe red berries and light oak; high acids and smooth tannins but a rather weak mid-palate. Alcohol feels higher than indicated. German and Italian sausages and Swiss group Yello on the German vinyl turntable made for a great central-Europe-themed evening !

Beautiful, uplifting aromas of spice, incense, dried red berries, a touch of mushroomy undergrowth and a whiff of cedar wood. Aetheric and very Musigny-like.
On the palate still remarkably youthful. On the lighter side yet with a decent, super fine tannic presence and juicy, orange-peel infused acidity. Love the mid palate especially with the umami flavours slowly emerging. And the long finish is not bad either!
Glad I still have a few bottle of this left!

Feb 27th, 201916/20 (89/100) Вино с ароматами маринованных овощей, клубники, малины и поджаренного хлеба. Довольно тельное и кислотное. Вкус соответствует. За последние два года аромат вина ещё больше скатился в овощи, не уверен, что его вообще стоит хранить.

Nov 14th, 2018A nuanced nose of strawberries with herby complexity. Soft and light, aetheric, yet with good character, polished tannins yet with a bit of (white tea) grip. Opens nicely over time. A beautiful wine.
