Purchased this because I was nudged by @H.B Treadway, and all the ratings hype.
Citrus and zesty nose. On the palate, it certainly reminds me of it’s French counterpart. Not sure if this wine sees oak - it’s not perceptible. Stones and rocks combine with crisp white fruits. It’s a well made wine, but not in the style that we prefer. Jayson SB is a similar price, but is far better (more tropical and open-knit). If you like your SB’’s taught, and tilting to the dry side, this may be for you.

Aromas of soft creamy lemon & minerals. Zing on the sides of my mouth, but on the palate, a bit softer.

This is the 2015...forgot to snap a photo. Big nose of grassiness, hay, sulfur, lemon, lime and yellow florals. The flavors on the palate are much different than the nose...more fruits come through. Lemon, lime, pineapple, green apple skin, dry grass/hay, soft powdery chalkiness, big sharp acid and polished round finish. Forward of 2015, this Charles Smith brand of wine will be called "Wines of Substance."

Citrus, white flowers and dried herbs on the nose. Lemon, melon and quince fruit with hints of spice, minerals and wet stones on the pallet. Made like a “fume Blanc”with a bit of oak on the finish. Nice creamy texture but lacking some acidity. Well made wine, but not my favorite style of Sauv Blanc.
