Graacher Domprobst Spätlese Riesling Auction

Had this blind. Never woulda thought this was an '03. They are shedding that baby fat and shining now and will go another 10 to 20 years.

Didn't think this was an '03, thought it was younger. Amazing wine. Lemon peel, cardamom, petrol, great intensity and freshness.

Lacking balance

Best 03 ever. So Schaefer. Crisp and enveloping at the same time. What I thought 03 was supposed to taste like before I tasted any and only read about it.

Auction bottling. Schaefer is the one Riesling to have when you're having more than one! Great with traditional family Xmas meal....take in Chinese

Citrus, pear and spice on the nose and in the mouth. Enough acid to keep things in check for this auction bottle.
