A well made Pinot from the Pinot kingdom of Oregon. Willamette Valley is the burgundy of the US, with very solid Pinots. This one is definitely a good example of what this region has to offer, it has a classical Ruby color, a nice tempting nose, with aromas of red cherries, red current, cassis, a touch of smoked Turkey and spices, medium body, smooth, round and elegant with lovely balancing acidity. More on the robust side then the elegant, yet very pleasant. My score 88, drink to 2020

Beautiful Pinot. Nuanced and balanced. The subtle earthiness nicely in harmony with the dark cherry fruit notes. Satisfying finish. Why don’t I score it higher?
