On the nose, tea rose, cherries, a whiff of granite and an edge of baking spices and sea air. On the palette, you can really taste the red fruit (thank you warmest year on record), and it is just a little bit 1 dimensional (though that might be because it is still maturing). It is very good though, and pleasing with my Vietnamese dinner.

Fabulous Pinot, smooth and subtly earthy. Light pepper and cherry. Lena and Alice brought it over to share with dinner - they bought it at the winery on their honeymoon. So generous of them to share, and such a fun evening! (We made corn risotto stuffed pablanos)
