Austrian goodness - accompanied by the best (beef broth-based) fondue I've ever experienced.

Dense yet subtle. There is power and tension on the palate with subtle expression of tangerine, pineapple and crushed seashells. Depth and persistence and just beautiful gruner. That being said I feel like this needs some time to come together completely.

Citrusy Grüner Veltliner, filled with flavor and the taste is Summer. Just a wonderful and flavorful example of Grüner Veltliner that shines and is surprisingly complex.

First of all, white pepper. One hour open and white pepper dominates - especially on the back end. For those who like, this is the sh!t. Nickel silver color and the scent of pine needles crossbred with menthol. Fukin’ awesome. (Got a little pine on the way back.)

Rounder, quieter than the others but more depth than the Geyerhof

Citrus pulp, tarragon, sea shells, pea tendrils, ginger, grapefruit peel, iceberg lettuce, hint of saline. Snapping acidity, light bodied, complex mineral driven texture, herbal/sea breeze slightly spritzy finish. Has that tense acid structure found in great Chablis. Biodynamic.

2011. Second course for Thanksgiving. Tasty but a bit overpriced IMO.
