Yellow cherries, waxy fruits, grapefruit, chalk. Pleasing salinity. Big acids; really savory, broad and long. #weegmuller #pfalz #riesling

Balanced, dry, touch of off dry but you wouldn't mistake this for sweet. Predominantly a full expression of fruit that in traditional good Riesling would be more nuanced, and a very pronounced structure of minerality that makes this special, esp for this price and with a screw cap. So much better than expected.

The 2012. As good a qpr as I've had in ages. Bright nose of lime, green apple, grapefruit, chalk and the barest hint of kerosene. In the mouth there's a hint of sweetness before the acidity cleans everything out in a wave of refreshment. Super-brisk and invigorating. Brilliant with sushi. And all this for $19.
