Tons of stony minerality with underlying vey faint lime zest, lime pith. Medium body with an edge of acidity and slight effervescent reminiscent of a Vinho Verde without all the green apple fruit. Probably better suited for a summer night with seared scallops than a chilly autumn Tuesday night with leftovers, but still bright, lively and fresh tasting wine.

Modern Gruner - no pepper from underripeness but stone fruit and depth / more minerality / steeper slopes and harder soils - gneiss gravel/ 400 yr old winery/ vibrant acidity /

This is a great wine! Sarah says it's real deal for a Grüner Veiltliner. This is a definitely re-buy. Clean and mellow, not sweet at all, not extremely dry either.

Lots of stone fruit and grapefruit. Nice acid and minerality. Was expecting a bit more different as it was very Sauvignon Blanc overall. But went really well with a spring dish.

Great ginger root spice, lemon and grapefruit citrus profile, and white peach stone fruit with a whiff of petrol and a nice dose of green peppercorns.

Fruit focused- lemon-lime, touch of spicy ginger, citrus blossom, ripe/crushed stone fruit bordering tropical, and grapefruit candy. Clean and precise; perfectly enjoyable, though not super "gruner-y" to me.

Group favorite from last night- very different in style from the 2014. Nice concentration, bitter finish, acidic, minerally = Classic GV
