Pink Gold Trollinger Rosé

A really expressive trollinger here with the typical unripened strawberry and grapefruit. What was cool was the splash of watermelon bubble gum flavor. Has a nice initial fizz texture that didn’t last long, but was still a pleasant low alcohol sipper.

A Pet ‘Nat with a robust bouquet of cranberry cherry, guava, grapefruit, hibiscus and stargazer lily all reflected in the palate. Tart/sour. Gleek factor: 10. Rich but dry. Juicy and refreshing. Natural & unfiltered.

Less concentrated than last year

Color is a beautiful, almost unnaturally reddish pink, cloudy and hazy. On the nose you get apple cider, watermelon, candied grapefruit and bubblegum. On the palate it's fairly dry with low acid and some of the notes on the nose are lost. It's mostly green apple, mango, peaches and some yeast. No funk from natural processes and incredibly refined for being unfiltered. On the finish you do get a bit of dried herbs. Pretty energetic bubbles like soda pop.

For all your friends who say they don’t like bubbly. Or rose. Or both. (Are they really your friends?)

Crushable and dry with big watermelon energy and juicy nectarine booty. Get it in the winter when you want summer, get it in the summer and take the bottle in the pool with you.

Dry to the bone but so fun and expressive. Almost a tad pithy. Hibiscus, watermelon rind, wild strawberries. High acid and high energy.

Lots of citrus rind… bitter tropical… kind of one dimensional. Would share it in a group and move on to the next. a disappointing pet nat. Maybe we sat on it too long.
