La Combe Verte Vineyard. Herbal and Marionberry notes in the nose with a hint of butter. A panorama of berry flavors - blue, black, rasp - in the mouth. Soft, good acid but needs some time to open. Hint of black licorice on the finish. After an hour, a fine grind of seed tannins emerges while fruit flavors integrate and acid softens. Nice fluid mouthfeel too. More time needed? After three hours, hints of lavender and black currant emerge. Overall, a wine of subtlety with some remaining aging potential.

Purple, medium extracted pigment. Spearmint and blackberry aromas. Blueberry and licorice root, cola flavors. Fairly tannic finish, ageworthy

Thoughtful and expertly crafted Pinot noir. Burgundian inspiration yet so transparently Oregon. Seriously wow for the value. Can not wait to try some of the single site bottlings.

Very enjoyable. I’m looking forward to trying the rest of their offerings.

An elegant and complex wine with notes of dark and red fruit, mushroom, wet forest floor, and a little bit of spice. Highly aromatic with a silky texture and precise acidity. A beautiful wine for the price ($32), reminiscent of much more expensive red Burgundy. Purchased at Brooklyn Wine Exchange in Brooklyn, NY.

Bright red fruit with some grippy tannin. Some earthy and spicy notes in there too.

Ripe raspberry fruit and herbal notes give way to an earthy finish. Very well balanced and complex in flavor.
