La Combe Verte Vineyard. Herbal and Marionberry notes in the nose with a hint of butter. A panorama of berry flavors - blue, black, rasp - in the mouth. Soft, good acid but needs some time to open. Hint of black licorice on the finish. After an hour, a fine grind of seed tannins emerges while fruit flavors integrate and acid softens. Nice fluid mouthfeel too. More time needed? After three hours, hints of lavender and black currant emerge. Overall, a wine of subtlety with some remaining aging potential.

Purple, medium extracted pigment. Spearmint and blackberry aromas. Blueberry and licorice root, cola flavors. Fairly tannic finish, ageworthy

Last bottle of vintage, see my tasting notes from 2019. Today, purple-red with light to moderate pigment extraction. Raspberry and black currant flavors with pomegranate-like tannin, acidity and flavor present. This wine is seed tannin-forward with length of flavor and moderate skin tannin finish. Aging well…

Thoughtful and expertly crafted Pinot noir. Burgundian inspiration yet so transparently Oregon. Seriously wow for the value. Can not wait to try some of the single site bottlings.

Light and earthy, cherries, tea leaves and rain. Perfect for this rainy afternoon. Cherry rain clouds in a glass!

Still very young, but so pretty on the nose. Violets, roses, black cherry, and wet forest floor. Get it and sit in it for a few years!
