Gorgeous aromas of honey, camphor, beeswax, orange pith, pink grapefruit and bergamot. There’s only a faint hint of petrol, which barely warrants a comment but for the fact it’s Mosel Riesling we’re drinking here.
Palate is sweet but light on its feet, with a slight bitter orange edge to the mouthfeel. It’s rich, but airy at the same time - that unique quality of Mosel Riesling.

There's something uncanny about the "HERRENBERG" vineyard in most warm, opulent years such as this 2007--pink grapefruit, passion fruit, lime peel etc...a tropical fruit bowl that soars out of the glass at you--a magical, sensory experience--WOW!!!

Clearly spent some time sitting in a hot warehouse, but with more integrity than the last bottle from the same source. Delicious, but as much for what it should have been as for what it is.
