Auslese #93. cool and precise with stewed apple, slate and a hint of oyster shells. Good salinity and a poached orchard fruit core. Good balance and length with lovely soft fruit.

Gorgeous aromas of honey, camphor, beeswax, orange pith, pink grapefruit and bergamot. There’s only a faint hint of petrol, which barely warrants a comment but for the fact it’s Mosel Riesling we’re drinking here.
Palate is sweet but light on its feet, with a slight bitter orange edge to the mouthfeel. It’s rich, but airy at the same time - that unique quality of Mosel Riesling.
A hedonistic Riesling, utterly drinkable in its prime.

There's something uncanny about the "HERRENBERG" vineyard in most warm, opulent years such as this 2007--pink grapefruit, passion fruit, lime peel etc...a tropical fruit bowl that soars out of the glass at you--a magical, sensory experience--WOW!!!
