2007. Simultaneously lush and muscular. Loaded up on berries and licorice and herbs. Serve with five pounds of fatty roasted beef.

This is the special 2004 Naima 'Peter Willburger Settembre, 1994 dal cicio 'Le Coste' aquaforte, puntasecca carta giapponese' Hand delivered by Bruno when my son Asher was 3 days old in March 2009. Bruno is living classic Italian History... You can meet him, hear about the philosophical beauty of Cilento or drink this perfect bottle that is more towards the feminine aromas of aglianico with demure tannins and a Capello acidity...in love and so excited to capture this moment of this bottle.. ❤️❤️❤️

The nose was dark, vibrant and rich with minerals and spice giving way to savory cherry sauce, herbal tones, black earth, and a hint of orange peel. On the palate, it showed silky textures contrasted by intense concentration and hints of tannin, with ripe dark fruits followed by notes of sweet herbs and cocoa. Mouth-coating, minty, dark fruits coated the palate throughout the long finish. This is the first time I've tried the '06 Naima where it seemed ready to drink. Beautiful tonight!

High powered and rustic. Like a Ferrari with mud flaps doing donuts in a barnyard.

2006 vintage. A wine to decant. Needs time to open up. Nice fruits and menthol notes on the nose. Strong and big and jammy body but high acidity that balances well. Delicious finish

Just a taste at the end of the bottle but definitely going to seek out some more Conciliis and wines from Paestum. #aglianico #steakwine #fwsomms
