Outis (Nessuno) Etna DOC Rosso Nerello Blend

Pretty special in 2019!

Pretty and light. Grows in the glass. Great example of Etna rosso elegance.

Very light color, brick. Dilute/watery

Corked. Still somewhat drinkable on the palate. Always really like this wine.

Bright, cherries. Hints of peppermint. Flavors follow. Clean. Chalky tannins. Nice intensity. Gassy.

So good! Red fruit, strawberry, hot bricks, cheese rind, herbs, red florals, ash, almost umami. Will buy some more soon.

👁 💀 Outstanding, elegant...almost Burgundian. Mineral rich, low acid. Gorgeous and iconic Etna wine.

Drop dead gorgeous Etna from the north side. Find it and drink it.

Med body with slightly garnet hue, dusty, straw, hay, savory dried herbs, with allspice on the nose. Let it breathe for a good 15 min in the glass. On the palate, there is red cherry, cola, licorice, red plum. Med plus acidity with bitting tannin. Only med finish.

The colour is so misleading... it's light like a barolo, but the flavour is powerful... like a barolo. So impressed.
