Fantastic bottle. Raw tartness and power structured by the unique geometry of oxidative winemaking. Sweet dried fruit nose with grilled walnuts, and the body is sherry-like, but with a vibrant bite that transcends all but the very best sweet sherry. Mushroom, rum, caramel, and berry liquor. So good.

I haven’t been surprised in a while, till a few thimblefuls of this. So light on the tongue, so fresh, yet deep & profoundly lip smacking. A dry Madeira w all kinds of brown & savory flavors. Was after a meal of roasted chicken & carrots but can imagine any food combination. Rare Wine Co.importer

Impressive acid, considerable length and complexity, still amazing QPR. Nut driven, walnut skin, marcona almond, ample dried yellow and orange fruit tones, apricot, golden raisin, a kiss tropical. Great to revisit

I can appreciate these wines but I still do not have the palate for some. Notes of Saline, rubber cement and maple syrup on the nose. The palate I was getting caramel popcorn, pecan and Saline.

Dainty, if thats possible, paired @Ruffian wine bar w desert. Definitely more of a foil for desert than a journey into the wine. Has a nice spine of some acidity which i didnt expect

Lord Stanley served this chilled and it was delicious. Not to sweet and soft acidity and more sherry notes than I'm used to.
