First exposure to this - loving it! All the components we love in a Napa cab.

Young. Obviously Napa. Unclear why the 50 dollar sale at my local place but seems to be consistent online. Good nose of flint, cherry, cassis, hint of wood, a bit of berry bramble. Palate is god tannin, berry cobbler, forest more on the woody side than green, there’s some spice. Overall pretty good.

Winery $165.00.
Bought for $50.00, seems they off loaded to a few different wine stores.
Opened one off the truck on Wednesday, just a splash and let breathe a bit in the fridge then decanted for 2 hours today. Completely different wine. It’s a $100.00 bottle if you work it properly. Wouldn’t pay release price though.

2021 vintage. Last tasted 5.28.25 (9.0). This showing was demonstratively better. Not as good as their CRU offering because it was 2x+ the price of the CRU but still, it came outta left field and nailed the runner at the plate. 10.8.25.

2021 vintage. More body than the other Vineyard 29 wines I’ve had from them over the years. Nice but off-putting stylistically and could use a few years. A bit out of sorts. 05.28.25

May 28th, 2025We decided to open a "special" bottle last night for date night in. Decanted for 2 hours. Very disappointing for the price point, totally unremarkable.
