Simply delicious! Nice red fruits, coconut shell, vanilla bean and a bit of sweet balsamic. Nice structure and balanced. Full disclosure, I’m in Alicante Spain. Wine always taste better when you’re drinking in the county that it’s made in. The food, the atmosphere and the history!

New discovery thanks to a helpful sommelier. Killer Rioja. Really smooth and tangy and bright.

An underrated vintage (compared to 81/82) showing beautifully well tonight with a northern Rhone touch - very delicate yet not fragile

Smokin’ good! Fresh, but complex. Will age for years.

Nice! Orange skin and hay. Gets more interesting while swirling, Don’t serve this too cold. Rich and creamy, with good tension.

Pop and pour. I initially opened a Rhys PN to pair with our lentil stew, but that just wasn't dense enough. This btl was fantastic. On the nose: soft mulberry, crushed sweet tomato, loads of raspberry, other soft herbal notes...nice complexity. On the palate: excellent acidity and density, but so weightless at the same time: black cherry and pomegranate, and then a nice finely grained tannic finish. Fantastic.

Not exactly worth the price if admission ($90ish) but would try again. A bit overextracted without much complexity.
