Not as big a fan of this as most people. Maybe an off bottle.

Hits all the boxes for chenin. Citrus, floral notes, lanolin/beeswax and nice textural weight with lively acidity. Seems like the producer understands the grape from the Loire so well that they are making magic in South Africa!

Pineapple, toast, wax, butterscotch. Bright acidity. So yummy.

Juicy pineapple, citrus blossoms, and a waxy, luscious mouthful make this a truly delicious wine. Immediately recalls Badenhorst's 2013-2014 vintages.

A bit sweeter than I expected, but a delightful honey finish.

Thick and rich. Not what I’m used to with Chin Blanc. But pretty good. Waxy and kind of yeasty. It’s ok, but not really my style. 9.99 at WH.

Uncorking the aroma and color had me scared of a stinker. It’s more like a flat Chardonnay. Clean and light.

Another solid vintage of this value driven South African Chenin. Light golden color. Aromas of white flowers, green melon rind and orange zest. Pallet notes orange as well with hints of unripe peach and straw. A touch of “fuzzy bitterness” on the finish. Medium bodied with bright acidity and nice texture.
