Seriously cool stuff. Built around a core of juicy fruit and accessible tannins, this quaffable red is a winner. There’s enough acidity to bring forth a sense of elegance too. A welcome CA addition to bunch loads of pointless stuff in this price range. Well done!

Six year old Carignan is fascinating! Great fruit that has more leather, dried rose, golden raisins, plums, and dried strawberry. Very complex with excellent acidity and still some tannin. Tasting great at 6 years!

Oct 4th, 2020Best Carignan I’ve had. So drinkable but great complexity, excellent with food or without. Some cherries, anise, hint of cream, brick/dirt, good tannin. Probably has a lot of time in the bottle to age.

Jul 1st, 2019Wow! This is different from years past. Fruit is excellent but now has an herbal spice and just tiny hint of oak which gives an awesome full mouthfeel. Can’t wait to see how this evolves over the next few years.
