Left me speechless. Nose is good but unremarkable for a tete de couvee (until after a while it starts showing sandalwood), the palate is maybe the best and definitely the most interesting I’ve ever tasted. It opens with spreading, razorblade acid which only lasts a moment. Then it leaves a hole in your mouth and it slowly fills with stuff that shouldn’t be in champagne, white pepper, spice and a giant mouthful of evaporated crushed rock. Terrible description but something MAGIC happens. I’m speechless.
