Grippy, with a beautiful backbone of Piemonte acidity and leathery tannins. Lifted, bright red berries. Superb. 78 weeks after Initial Coravin, this system really works.

Good structure but the oak still needs time to integrate.

Ripe cherry, dark crushed plum, cedar, herbs and cinnamon bark. A modern feel with plenty of tannin at this point yet shows a beauty in perfume and explosive fruit concentration.

This was showing a gorgeous and intense bouquet of ripe raspberry, cherry, cinnamon and mixed spices with mint, cedar and dark chocolate. On the palate, it was rich, literally packed with dark red fruit, yet remaining vibrant and lively. Licorice, balsamic tones and savory herbs were just a few of the constantly evolving flavors here. The finish was long with staying bitter cherry, dark-dark chocolate and spice tones. This is simply stunning juice

Wonderful depth. Almost black in color. Great integration of tannin/acid.

I'm a big fan of Barbera and I like Vietti normally so I was excited for this. Unfortunately it didn't live up to the price tag. There were signs it might be better in a few more years but I don't think I'll reinvest. Too modern.
