2011 Vietti rocche with Luca dropping knowledge with the Barolo cru map! A wine of profound complexity and beauty.

Yes, it's as good as everyone has been saying. Classic, layered bouquet of roses, strawberry, cherry, dusty spice, minerals and savory herbs. It displayed pure, silky textures with red fruits, fine tannin and mineral crunch. Inner floral tones and dried fruits linger long on the fresh yet structured finish, but the best is still a decade or two down the road. Bravo @vietti_vino #Barolo

Nicely paired with veal and eggplant parm. Decanted 2 hours. Not blockbuster but excellent

This was another beauty! Plum & cherry fruits with fruit cake, baking spices and sandalwood.

If you're about to comment on this wine than you might be missing on something the wine should tell you. Instead,shut up and savour it.
