Beautifully aged. Paired so perfectly with Chef Norman Van Aken’s Pork Havana at his Orlando Ritz Carlton location. Medium toast from the oak, vanilla, balanced, velvety mouth feel. Dried fruits, blackberry, cherry, tobacco, licorice. Soft around the edges. Decanted for two hours. Could cellar for a few more years.

Vérité's 2015 La Joie is deep, powerful and structured, with tons of Cabernet savoriness running through a core of intense, dark fruit. This is what Napa blends all aspire to be but fail so miserably more often than not. Magic juice spit forth by the wine gods. Ethereal, seamless structure. Aromatic and dense, but also dances lightly on the palate. Blackberry, smoke, herb, graphite. The minerality is the key aspect of this wine that stands out and is truly unique to many other Napa wines.
