Extremely plush, rich and juicy. Plum infused pencil shavings come to mind. Just phenomenal.

One of my favorite cabs and drinking at close to perfection. Old world soul that is at peak right now.

Beautifully aged. Paired so perfectly with Chef Norman Van Aken’s Pork Havana at his Orlando Ritz Carlton location. Medium toast from the oak, vanilla, balanced, velvety mouth feel. Dried fruits, blackberry, cherry, tobacco, licorice. Soft around the edges. Decanted for two hours. Could cellar for a few more years.

Vérité's 2015 La Joie is deep, powerful and structured, with tons of Cabernet savoriness running through a core of intense, dark fruit. Grilled herbs, leather, menthol and licorice all develop in the glass. Sumptuous and yet also structured, La Joie is another winner from Vérité. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, April 2018)

Greener than I had expected, thus I was surprised there wasn't more Cab Franc. Balance wass there for what it was worth
