63/37 Verdot/Sirah made by the Scheid family. This one is surprisingly drinkable right out of the bottle! But I'd still decant for 30 minutes+. It's an explosion of various berries, but also features tar, black licorice, and cocoa. Additionally, it comes in at a mere 14%. A refreshingly drinkable Petite/Petite!

Needs plenty of time to open up. Unique and interesting varietal, nose of cherry, leather, gamey, smokey. Sharp tannins on the tongue. Sour cherry lingers, meaty but balanced with fruit, plummy. Glad to try these varietals.

63/37 petit verdot/petite syrah blend. Fantastic bold blend. It starts with a huge, juicy plum burst. As it sits on the pallet, a subtle sweet pepper develops, and at last, a dry gravel hint emerges. This wine is wonderfully complex.

Nice Petit Verdot/Petite Sirah blend. Great with ribeye sliders.

Expected more. I felt that it fell flat. Definitely lots of berries and the cocoa powder comes through with almost nonexistent tannins. Short finish

V13. Needs to open up at least 30 minutes. Dusty white pepper and soft smoke nose. Dry , earthy, black berry fruit. Nicely balance. Good red food or conversation wine.

Biggest wine I've had in recent memory that tastes great right out of the bottle.
