Greco di Tufo

Perfect for cutting through a mackerel salad (and lying in the spring time sun in the garden to relax it off). Can't think of any notes, fruits or olfactory sensations as we drank it too quickly.

Greco di Tufo vintage 2012.
Minerally, caraway, brine. Medium to light body, sapid, almond finish. Refreshing.

Mango. Sea salt. A pinch of cayenne. Paired this with spot prawn sushi, sea beans, and ice plant. Throw this wine at any seafood dish. Gorgeous!

Dried apples, propped up by herbal juiciness. Very enjoyable.

Simple but satisfying, pithy grapefruit touches

Lovely salinity and grippe

Pear and peach, both barely ripe. Some slight herbaceousness, sage or other garden herbs after they’ve flowered. There’s a struck match quality. There’s a really phenolic, almost-spicy, skin-like texture which is nice, but the finish is short. Tart rather than long.

Funky stinky nose out of the gate with nice tropical fruit and citrus on the nose. Racy and fresh on the palate with a bit of doughyness for texture.
