Clear garnet in the glass. Big blousy nose of black cherry, black raspberry, and yes, cedar. Medium full body introduced by medium plus, mouthwatering acidity. Black raspberry and black cherry cola with more of that cedar on the palate. Medium tannins bat clean up for the medium, cherry-laden finish. A New World wine with some Old World sensitivities, it’s as appropriate for a fine dining night out as it is with delivery pizza. Drink up if you’ve got some it. Otherwise, sorry you missed out!

Really surprising PA wine from Doug! Expressive and to me, tasting of hot growing season. Two days on, it was gone. Thanks, Doug!

The best Nebbiolo outside of Italy I’ve had. Aromatic and earthy, with wild mushrooms, cherries, flowers, cloves and cinnamon. The texture is just fantastic, velvety on the attack linearly giving way to bright cherry cola on the finish. Precise and linear, this is just a stellar wine.
