Cedar, blackberry, and coffee. Deep burgundy color with earthy notes.

Inky dark in color with a dark fruit, cola, and oak nose. On the palate molasses, mulled fruit and plum gives way to prune and spice. The finish is moderate acid and tannins with molasses and black tea lingering.

The nose is charred fruit. Fruit forward on the palate with lots of cherry, plum, strawberry, and blackberry. The body is heavy, reflective of the nearly 15% alcohol. The finish is chewy with medium acid and a smokey fruit aftertaste.

Slightly monolithic, red fruit, mild tannins, oak.

Yummy! Much better than the '15, but that's probably because this had time to mellow. Had the '15 straight from the barrel.

Too olivey and smokey. Not enough bramble but still good.
