Unti really has nailed Italian varietals in dry creek valley. There's never anything 'put on' about their wines. Balanced and always great with a wide variety of food.

Serious Parliament Dr. Funkenstein funk on the nose upon opening.. The funk blew off and revealed a really nice nose of lovely dark fruit, if not slightly bretty. Not obscene tho. Palate has held up nicely, mimics the nose with a bit of spice and nice acidity. Fully resolved tannin. Found this hiding in my cellar. Good stuff!

Tres pleasant: Strawberry jam, rhubarb pie, candy cane and gun flint on the nose. Continues to cocoa nib and suggestion of American Spirits. Bit of Bourbon barrel finish. Best part? The balance. Has a signature Dry Creek quality together with lots of Italianate astringency. Cotton candy holler back. *Nice*
