Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese

Rich red fruits (cherry) reflective of the excellent vintage. Rich savouriness on the medium + bodied palate. Liquorice notes. Based on how good the 2019 Rosso was from Uccelliera was, this was always going to be a winner.

With time in the glass this delivered a freshness I yearn for in BdM that is often tired and over spiced by barrel age. Delicious.

Pretty nice. Will definitely benefit from some cellaring

This producer is an underrated powerhouse. Always impressive. This is another excellent showing. Complex. Strong fruit. Power but with spice and earthy kick. Fantastic. I would give it a few more years. Should be even better.

Gorgeous. Minimal decant and this wine was very elegant and smooth. Delicious and just easy pairing with pasta sauce.
