Blend of 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc & 5% Petit Verdot, deep Ruby with aromas of dark red fruits, sweet spice and spice notes. On the palate flavors of black cherry, plum and currants with notes of cacao and salty spice. Fine soft tannins, long finish ending with ripe fruit character. Very nice!

We had this on 2/2-3/19. Dark fruit and cedar on the bouquet. Blackberry and blueberry along with lavender and mocha on the palate. A smooth finish to this full bodied wine. A good Merlot which is well balanced.

Feb 3rd, 2019Twomey does Merlot really well. This is no exception. Velvety smooth, lots of dark fruit. Paired with veggie flat bread, ricotta filled ravioli, Lobster bisque, and KC Strip...terrific.
