I can see how this style is still popular. Tons of fruit, jam and concentration. Lacking acid as you might assume, but the 15.8% is very well integrated. Throwing a ton of sediment at a very young age, suggest not a long life ahead. Very enjoyable now.

Last bottle of this - concentrated fruit, acidic, barely-there tannings. Didn’t do it for me. This time, decanted at midday, drank at 7pm and different wine. Acidity backed off, tannins beautifully developed - rich and grippy. Much more enjoyable!
