Turley
Hayne Vineyard Zinfandel

Complex. Lots of fruit smoothing over the tannins. Some bramble and grip. Pretty distinctive. Give this a good decant.

The 2015 Hayne Zin from Turkey is another in a long line of exemplary Cali Zins from Turley and this vineyard in particularly. Cherry ice cream on top, layers of flavor down to toast and maybe pepper with firm but not overbearing tannins. Always a favorite of mine and this vintage doesn’t disappoint. UPDATE: still drinking great 9/24 with some tertiary notes of dried fruit just at the edges.
