Rainy day. Leather chair. Time to fade out into the night. This is about as ripe, rich, and Cali-style as a Willamette Pinot gets. All cola and milk-chocolate covered strawberries and Maraschino cherries with a bit of cooling menthol on the back-palate. Against my typical preferences, kinda where I wanted to land tonight.

aromas of tart cherry, animal funk.....really dirty
flavors show chocolate, super blend of earth and cherry. really tasty.

Red berries. Earth, baking spices. Very elegant on the nose and the palate. M+ acid. M body. Round silky tannin. Balanced. Long finish.

Young, a little tight...tobacco, tea, and cherry-cranberry w/ cinnamon and licorice finish. Should be even better with a little time.

A really really good Pinot Noir that paired well with a variety of food. You just can't beat Williamette Valley Pinots.
