This is a delicious 5 years old Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa.
Dry on and very fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, stewed cherries, chocolates, tobacco, spices, coffee, cedar, vanilla, leather, earth and peppercorn.
Rich yet elegant. Powerful with nice complexity and a great mouthfeel. Shows a great nose.
Would benefit from another 5 years of bottle time.
Good by itself as a sipping wine. Tangy, spicy and entertaining.
Aged in French oak barrels for 20 months.

Really enjoyed this last night. Some herbal qualities but the balance with the fruit was there. Tannins were silky smooth. Drinking in a good place right now.

Popped and poured. Luscious dark and red fruits with sweet tobacco. Very primary now. The oak treatment is pretty lavish but I’m enjoying it due to the quality of the juice itself. Plenty of structure. These will easily last for 10-15 years.

Trinchero family has been making wine in the Napa Valley since 1948. Rich fruit aromas with seeet spice nose. On the palate dark fruit with flavors of blackberry and cherry, vanilla oak, cacao and spice. Tannins still tight but slowly opens, great balance and mouthfeel ending with earthy mineral character. Very nice! Give it time.

Had to double decant to remove the sediment. Beautiful oak and balance. Black currant, fruit heavy but not overpowering. Beautiful wine.

Such a mix of my herb garden it's hard to pick out. I smell our old jalepeno bush, so peppers perhaps? Speckled light sediment mess on the glass. Should have decanted- whoops.

What a true delight and contains what I love in Napa Cabernets. Sweet oak aromas, black berry, full body with an earthy stone taste on the tongue. Beautiful oak and full flavor that hangs on the palate. An absolute enjoyment, but cannot wait to see what is hidden a few years down the road.
