Delicious but not as tart as I’d expect.

Nice Riesling, nice full texture, rich but not too much, acidity is backward, residual sugar feel is low, a bit of evolution though for such a young Riesling. 89-90

Beau Riesling un brin évolué pour son âge, une belle texture pleine et assez riche, acidité en retrait, pas de sensation de sucre résiduel trop élevée, belle longueur, très bien et content de ne pas avoir trop attendu cette bouteille.

Needs a lot of air now muts to young, but after a few hours in a decanter very enjoyable

GL Trimbach Riesling tasting 10/25/17. All wines are whole cluster and steel or old fuder. This newly acquired. Native yeasts unless needed. One racking. Same process for all. Explosive floral and grapefruit nose and excellent balanced body and complexity on palate and beautiful finish. Yum. The first granite soil rather than limestone. Inaugural vintage. Only 1.6 hectre. Focus and energy.
