Rosé wine dinner at The Wheatleigh in Lenox, MA. The darkest of the rosés, this was predominantly Nebbiolo and Barbera, floral nose, red fruit on the plate, weightier than the other rosés, without being heavy. Delicious.

P: Dirty Strawberries, Hay, cherries, For a ‘17 Nebbiolo/Barbera blend, a nice way indeed to encourage spring w Asparagus primavera.

I have to side here with Carl Fischer. A good rose. Dark with weigh. Mostly underripe strawberry - on the back palate touch morello cherry as it warms up just 🍓. Faintest touch of pine needles. At Sportello in Boston.
