Estate Bottled Gattinara Nebbiolo
Classic, slightly rustic feel. Lots of sour cherry, mushroom, herbs, damp concrete and rose petal. Very broad and lengthy finish. This will go the distance.

Nov 6th, 2023Not rated: the apple crisp in the background that I’m mostly making for the autumn ambience. (And this wine has apparently become my reliable everyday go-to red)

Sep 19th, 2021Double decanted over 1-2 hours.
Ripe red cherry, slight meaty, musky aroma, slight herbal aromas. Lifted fresh roses.
Palate confirms the ripe fruits, medium body, slightly bracing acidity (needs food), but tannins are ripe and well integrated. Medium length bright and slightly savory finish.
I feel like this is a reasonable value, great with food and ready to go with a short decant.
