In the glass, it is a very pretty translucent ruby color. Gorgeous aromatics of rose petal, peppered red plum, bright black cherries and sweet cherries jubilee. Bit of a disconnect between the aromatics and the palate...overload of red cherries, tart black cherries, tar, and an herbal twang...oregano like. Hardly any acidity here, but it’s actually semi tannic driven at the finish. Very much OR in style and not Cali-like. Not sure it’s getting better.

Very savory, but still has a nice core of fruit. Really nice texture, very soft with a lifted finish.
