I never rate friends wines so take the 9.0 as a place holder score but.. very pretty. Seamless. Not about absolute power, more (and god I hate the term) old school style. Delicious now but my other 2 will not be opened for a while.

Very floral nose of rose, strawberry, lilac, overripe raspberry, but not soggy, velvet and just a hint of cold charcoal. Deep burgundy with hints of purple to the edges, medium bodied, with slightly grippy tannins. Palate features ripe, deep red fruits, with notes of black olives, plums, blackberry and rose petal, with a long finish with notes of violet flowers and hints of tobacco smoke in the back of the throat. Three cheers for Kiko!

Fruit aromas jump out of the glass, silky texture, blueberry, well integrated oak. This one needs to wait a little longer as it’s still a little tight. Will try to wait a few years for the next bottle.
