Tinhorn Creek
Oldfield Reserve Okanagan Valley Cabernet Franc
The nose is a tart cherry. Almost had a fizzy smell to it, like cherry pop. On first sip, spicy with tart notes of cherry and maybe a sweet tone of a strawberry. Not to much tannins. Has a bit of smokiness to it too. Has some complexity to it. Would drink again.

Jan 4th, 2021Decanted for 1 hour prior to drinking. Begins with a fairly hot nose of cedar and dark fruit and transitions into a powerfully juicy palate of blackberry, leather, clove and bell pepper. A superb expression of Canadian Cab Franc. Paired with a 20 day aged striploin with tarragon-sauce and both golden and red beets as well as Scarlett runner beans we grew in our garden. 👌🏻 🍷
