Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep red color with aromas of dark berry fruit and pepper spice. On the palate blackberry and cherry flavors with dusty spice. Grainy tannins carry to the medium finish ending with cacao and vanilla oak. Ok, but not great. Tasting Sample.

Very enjoyable, good mouthfeel, not too tannic with nice fruit and structure. #howellmountain #cabernetsaugvinon #napavalley

Great example of Howell Mountain fruit. Full bodied, good balance of oak and dark fruit.

Gave this one another 6 months. Still shows plenty of black and red berries with a bit of spice. Not going to knock you over but it's still a good value Napa mountain peak wine.

Howell Mtn Cab from the Ladera family. Inky out of the bottle with notes of cherry, blackberry and bright acidity. Chocolate, dried herbs and cocoa on the mid palate. A nice spicy finish but not going to blow your friends away. Good price point for the money.

Thickish, sweet. Plum jam, apricot, not my usual sipping wine. Dessert, cheese. A flute plays. A young ballerina leaps across a meadow

Dry, smooth. Darker flavor, medium acid. Not complex but very drinkable and refined.
