Excellent example of how good white burgundy can be for under $30

Fruit picked near the appellation of Meursault, pale lemon with aromas of stone and citrus fruits, adding in some nutty notes. On the palate flavors apple, pear and lemon citrus, creamy, medium finish ending with fruit, nutty spice notes and wet earthy character.

Spectacular value from Burgundy. Stone fruits with pronounced nuttiness. Great introduction to white burgundy here.

More tropical than your typical white Burgundy...notes of pineapple, lemon and minerals

The Matrot Chardonnay smells of tropical fruit, mainly lemon, lime and pineapple. On the palate, citrus dominates, with great acidity and a creamy mouthfeel coexisting. This is a great Chardonnay, vibrant and youthful, with zip enough for salads, seafoods and white meat.

Pretty good... Pretty pretty pretty pretty good. I suggest drinking a bit warmer. Mineraly, acidic, but not too sweet.

To quote Bottle Shop the “2nd Generation Wine Merchant” Matrot is a textbook example of a basic Bourgogne Blanc, creamy yet zesty and refreshing, not especially substantial yet with enough intrigue to invite repeated sips in search of the mysterious flavors at the heart of good white Burgundy.'

Clean and bright. Some fruit is from young vine Meursault and it shows. Value burgundy
