Rosé de Loire Cabernet Franc Rosé

Good but not the superstar of previous years

Delicious, consistent with previous. No hurry

reductive on day, one, day two it shined!

It took a while but the Franc notes emerged with some air. Good acidity and freshness here balanced with the berry fruit.

Go-to rose with anything savory, the red berries and hint of green bell pepper on the finish make this perfect for anything from serious cuisine to a cookout

Jalapeño, chalk, powdered strawberry, melon, rose hips. Always a surprise.

A very proper, stand up white that happens to be a rose. Excellent concentration & legs in the glass, with a mesmerizing salmon color. Quite textured & dry on the palate, with quince, white flowers, & an impressive minerality. A lot of wine for 20$ on sale, & food will only help it. Pedigreed maker whose Chenin blancs sell starting 4/5x as much. Paired with harissa chicken & rice.

Last of my 2018s…maybe lost a bit of vivacity but still has the boudignon salted watermelon cotton candy thing going on so still fun
