Medium intensity aromas of lemon, and tropical fruit like mango and pineapple. On the palate the wine is dry, high acidity and has wet-stone like flavors in addition to the lemon. It is sour on the palate, it has gone too lean. Just OK. #ojaivineyard #biennacido #chardonnay #sbcounty #santabarbaracounty #santamaria

Kettle corn, pineapple and Maldon salt. Shows the usual restraint and balance; no new oak. Quite ripe, yet the burst of expected heat on the finish doesn’t happen. Every year, this becomes more like a top Côte Chalonnaise white.

Medium body, not buttery nor too chard with notes of citrus, crisp apple. Excellent pairing with Cioppino and family.

Ojai Vineyard Wines has a great Santa Maria Valley chard, from Bien Nacido Vineyard, courtesy of Lacey Lewis. Buttery, oak, with a slight citrus - Debbie loves it!

Soft, pretty and expressive, especially with a little air.

Still holding up. Touch of nuttiness, tropical fruit, good acid and nice body.

A lean and pleasant wine. Lots of citrus rind and mineral on the palate.

Big and rich with beautiful toast and fat yellow fruit. Despite its weight it is quite delicate on the palate with great acidic balance and depth of flavor. Toast, slight butter, yellow fruit, smoky mineral, and spice. A bit nervous still. A few years would do it well.
