Half bottle on sale bargain as this Hess hints at the much more expensive wines in adjacent vineyards. I ran back to get more but they were gone and cried a river.

A medium ruby look. Syrupy.
An high intense mild sweet and berry fruity nose.
Mid full body with a mid long length. Acidity stands a little bit out in a pleasant way.

I liked it a lot ! Full body and bursting at the seams with berry and plum notes. Would definitely drink again. $26 is what hubs paid so this will be a “special occasion “ wine for us . Like to spend less on everyday wine.

May 24th, 2020This beauty ranges from $26 to about $31. A very good value for an extremely smooth vino, with everything Berry coming at you all at once! From the nose to the velvety texture, you will get raspberry, blueberry, blackberry and I even get some jam. It’s not sweet and is a Cabernet lover’s delight as far as its dryness... but it definitely tricks you for a moment into thinking you are getting a fruity sweet wine which ends up finishing extremely dry. Well done Hess!

My favorite of the wines I've had lately. The wine is very smooth with a fruity, smoky taste and a nice finish. The wine is also certified sustainable, which is a plus for me.
