Jan 23rd, 2019Almost jammy. Big red fruit (cherry and red currant), with soft fleshy tannins. Hint of cloves on the finish. Very interesting wine :)

Nov 18th, 2016Good gracious four graces! I am a fan of slightly bigger pinots (and respect those that aren't). This is good though, Damn good!

Nice bottle from the red hills of Dundee. Found in a bottom box in my "cellar." From a trip long ago. Classic Oregon Pinot nose. Rich to start... dark red fruits, light toast, and a smooth finish.

Cherry cola cherry cola cherry cola! Even though the vintage was strong , the oak manipulates and undermines the sense of place. Still tastes super good. I'm starting to understand why Pinot noir is such a polarizing grape...

Feb 3rd, 2016Clear, pale ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of cherries, raspberries, and dried leaves; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, low tannins, light body, high alcohol, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of strawberries, hibiscus, dried herbs, and cola with a long finish. This wine is balanced, complex, and intense. The alcohol is well integrated. Overall, I rate this wine as outstanding.
