Rosé of Pinot Noir

I’m really digging “old” Rosé lately. This 2017 was very fine 2 years ago. It’s still very fine and has put on a little weight and mellowness.

Faint red flowers, strawberry, and raspberry. Low to moderate minus acid.

This isn’t on trend, but what I wouldn’t give for a stainless-steel version of this glorious juice...

This Willamette Valley Rosé of Pinot Noir pours a beautiful salmon color and starts with aromas of grapefruit, orange peel and a hint of rose petals. Grapefruit flavors continue through on the palate with an overabundance of sour cherry and a bit of oily minerality. Acidity was a bit overwhelming which kept some of the subtlety of the wine from coming through. Paired well with Vietnamese spring rolls and a Monday night celebration! ($24) [8/13/18]

Beautiful day notes of raspberry, rose, and watermelon with some creaminess. Pale pink.

"This wine is made from old, ungrafted vines growing in dry-farmed vineyards. We take the unusual approach of fermenting and aging in heirloom barrels for 6 months."

Thank you for combining tech info and a hint of romance for wine geeks on your back label. Oh yeah, the juice was delicious on a rainy chilly day in "the A."
