Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Napa Cab under $25! For the price, totally worth it. Just know that you're value is in flavor, balance and finesse; not power or tannin. The wine isn't missing any component of a good bottle of Cab, it shows you small amounts in every category.

Solid 2012 Cab on a property adjacent to the big boys like Screaming Eagle. Solid 20+ dollar wise cab. On special I think for 21.98 at WineWorks Marlton

Starts off a little simple but it blossoms with 30 minutes in the glass. This is a medium-bodied cab with red-leaning fruit and good acidity. The nose is a bit compact and the finish is short, but this is otherwise a good buy for around $26. I'd drink it sooner rather than later, though, as it loses steam with extended aeration.

Dark ruby in color with a reddish rim.
Full bodied, smooth and bold.
Dry and fruity on the palate with medium acidity.
Showing black fruits, chocolate notes, vanilla, tobacco, cedar, licorice, cola and mocha.
Nice finish with fine grained tannins.
This is a tasty Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. Fruit forward with a simple nose and mild complexity on the palate, with a nice soft mouthfeel.
Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up and shows some structure. Would benefit from another 3 to 5 years of bottle time.
Good price for a Napa Cabernet.
Aged for 16 months in French oak barrels.
Low alcohol for a Napa Cabernet, which is not something you find too often.
A blend of 94% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Merlot.
13.3% alcohol by volume. Wow.
90 points.

"Textbook" Napa Cab at the $30 price point. Blackberry liqueur and licorice. Pretty nice seamless package and quite balanced if not lush. @Pignetti's Restaurant, Temple TX
